Positive: The enclosed garden with the beautiful background was wonderful, especially since I wasn't able to participate in any outdoor activities due to my injury. However, my friends went skiing for a day and my partner went on a few hikes with the dogs and they said they enjoyed themselves a lot.

Negative: I knew this beforehand, but the sauna and other wellness options were in the hotel and so it was a lot further from the holiday apartment than expected. We didn't end up using the facilities. We also had a really unpleasant experience at the restaurant with either rude or non-existent service. Although there was clearly an event going on, we didn't think it would be too problematic to order some ice cream since we got the menu, albeit after a LONG wait, but the waitstaff never came back, neither to check on us nor to see if we wanted to order anything. The hotel in itself was great, but we expected more from the restaurant.

Positive: Breakfast was good

Negative: We had booked half board and when we arrived were told there was no food that night and we could discuss with the manager the next day about a refund for the food We were on a bike and it was raining, had to walk into the town for food ( 10 mins away ) there was an event on so all the restaurants were booked got a 45 min slot to eat . Got 40€ back for no evening meals If we had known there was no food we would have booked somewhere else , Booking.Com and the hotels need to sort this out when offering 1/2 board

Summary: Sorry will not be staying here again

Positive: A nice, comfortable hotel with a very friendly staff. Hans, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent (we ordered half board and were very happy with both the dinner and breakfast). The room was big and very clean with extremely comfortable beds. More than what we expected, will be happy to come again.
